For those who don't live in the Midwest…No, we didn't drive to Florida for this session. Yes yes yes, there IS a Miami University in Ohio.

 Bring it in tight!

My view.

 Mikey's. :)

 Doesn't that look comfortable?!

 WEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

 ;)

OXFORD, Ohio. We met Courtney and Jordan at Amy and Josh's wedding (they were VERY freshly engaged).  You see, she, along with Amy and Steve is a "card club kid". What the heck IS that?! Lucky for you, I'm about to tell you! :) There's a group of women from Tell City, Ind who've been playing cards with each other for YEEEEEEARS!  Well, as a result all of their kids have grown up together… and are the best of friends. Call it a hunch, but I bet you'll be seeing even more card club kids on this blog in the future.

Both Courtney and Jordan are graphic designers. As we were walking around, we saw a Huffy bike chained up… Jordan looked a little closer and saw one of his designs as a decal. How flipping AWESOME is THAT?!

Can't wait for 11.21.09 :)

Much love!

Laura said she didn't want a veil… she instead wanted all of the attention on her hair.  I say, DONE AND DONE!

Notice those shoes on the power line?  You see, we like to keep things classy :)

HELLOOOOOO fun bridal party!

 WACKY BOBBI STRIKES AGAIN!!!!!

"Here come old flattop…" I'd be impressed if you got that :)

As I almost always do… I asked, "what is the part of the day you're most looking forward to" Laura's response… "I'm excited for my dad to see me in my dress." :)

;)

 WE'RE MARRIED!!!!!!!!

My hilarious jokes NEVER fail! ;)

 I love our couples. K? K.

:D

I shot this laying in the parking lot in front of the reception hall.  A few guests came out and looked at me and thought I was off my rocker. BOOYAH!

This is our second wedding with this family. :D It's a tradition to make a vehicle that represents the couple to push around the reception hall. You guessed it, they're both teachers… :)

How flipping SWEET are they!? I definitely teared up when they handed me this.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.  You see, as a wedding photographer… you have to plan your life about a year and a half in advance. And, because my birthday fell on a Sunday this year, we chose to mark the entire weekend off.  HOWEVER, when Laura's mom Jeannie called us asking if we were available for her daughters wedding, we couldn't say no.  After all, we photographed Joe's brother Josh's wedding in 2006… and we absolutely fell in love with the whole gang!  Once we photograph your family, you're sorta stuck with us forever!  So, needless to say when Laura and Joe busted out that cake, I started crying.  AYKM?! YOU BROUGHT ME A BIRTHDAY CAKE??!?!? I was speechless (quite a rarity ;) )

Laura and Joe had an incredible day full of love, laughter and GREAT fun!  The most unique element, in my personal opinion, was that Laura's uncle was the priest who married them. I've seen Father Jim in action before… but seeing him with his family being famously referred to as "Uncle Jim" was just so dang cool!

Thank you thank you THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for EVERYTHING!  You really and truly made us feel like family.  Love you guys. :)

 Helloooooo cutie patootie family :)

Remy looks just like his mommy, at least in my opinion. ;)

Adam's only request… photos with these Wild Things! :D Mikey's favorite :?:

 Check out THOSE blue eyes!

…then we stepped outside for a few minutes

I love seeing the excitement that new parents have. My favorite :!:

I loved this little outfit! If I can recall, they got it for him here. If you have a baby in your belly… go there, k? k.

;)

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. We LOVE photographing new families… seeing all of their excitement and love is just so dang cool! :)

Adam has just become an official MD. OFFICIAL!  He graduated with our good friend Annie, which is how they found us.  :) Soon after Janelle found out she was pregnant, they were over to Annie and Ben's house for dinner (which I'm SURE was YUMTOWN!)… anyway… Janelle noticed an album sitting out and flipped through it.  Lo and behold… it was full of our photos. :D Well… the rest is history!

Can't wait to see this lovely family again! :)

Love love love!!!

We found lots of new fun colorful spots on our photo voyage :)

 Mikey's favorite :?: DUHTOWN!

This is one HOT photo!!!!!! ;) I'm so witty, I tell ya.

Then back to Emily's parents home to grab a few photos with the famous tandem bike.

My favorite :!:

:)

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.  Don't be mad at me… I don't FULLY remember the story with the tandem bike. I remember it having something to do with Emily's dad having a dream about a tandem bike right before marrying Emily's mom. So, soon after being married, they bought THAT bike. I'm doing the story no justice… if one of you could tell the story, that'd be fab… :D

Emily grew up riding it. Nick, however… it was his first time ever riding a tandem.  We had them ride it back and forth a couple of times.  They would go out of site then a few minutes later would reappear.  I guess turning/stopping wasn't easy for a first time rider. So, to avoid either of those things, they had to go quite the distance. :D I have to tell ya… after watching them ride that bike… I WANT ONE!!!!

They're getting married in January and we cannot wait! :) YEAHYEAHYEAHYEAH!!!

Much love friends :)
