These two laugh SO easily I ran out of my “good jokes” pretty early on so I resorted to laughing hysterically hoping that it was contageous enough for them to chime in… according to Danielle, my “fake” laugh sounds like a dolphin. Hmm… Not sure.. but whatever, it worked!

Jesh De Rox (who’s work I AODRE) recently put up a shot like this on his blog… so I thought I’d try… I LOVE it! What a FUN weekend!!!! Mikey and I went to Springfield, Ohio a couple of weeks ago to visit our friends Lauren & Robbie of openField photography. As many of you know… graphic design is a HUGE passion of mine, so while we were there… we all refined the look openField logo. So, as Lauren and I were at the computer… Robbie and Mikey were experimenting with off camera flash stuff. Luckily for us, as a result of their experiments… we have the whole design process documented!

OH OH OH I LOVE these two!

Lauren and Robbie are such a huge inspiration to me… their work is some of the best I’ve seen!

It’s SO weird how this world brings people together. I’ve KNOWN of them for YEARS! My first serious boyfriend went to photography school with Robbie in Ohio and are, to this day, best friends…. though, somehow I never met him. Now… through this wild photo world… we’re GREAT friends I talk to Lauren MULTIPLE times each day… and that’s no exaggeration We’re so lucky to have these two in our lives.

 

Here we all are… the wind was EXTREME…and my hair was RIDICULOUS..don’t mind how bad I look wit that hoodie. Also… see that fun ribbon around my neck? Lauren gave me a little gift… the box was wrapped with the ribbon… I accessorized. The OTHER necklace I have is actually a necklace from one of those 50¢ jewelry machines that you find in grocery story foyers… The machine was titled “GET YOUR BLING HERE!” I ended up with a BLINGIN’ gold sphinx!
