Another AWESOME photo shoot with an AWESOME couple This time we were in Bloomington… two days in a row in college towns (the day before we shot rachel+jason’s engagement in Lafayette). Every time we visit one… we miss college… If only we could be 19 with zero responsibilites forever

Mike actually went to high school with Eric They sort of remember each other and spent the first half of the session trying to figure it out. They FINALLY figured it out… They were both on the tennis team Down memory lane the went. So yes… another session where I wasn’t the one doing most of the talking. WEIRD… I KNOW!!!!

We cannot WAIT until their wedding July 12, 2008 so, see you guys then!

Right after they were announced they went immediately to their first dance…. I always LOVE when DJ’s suggest this. I think it’s such a great idea Sometimes the couple will get announced and they go to their seat and sorta look around like… “what am I supposed to do now?” But when they do their first dance right away… all eyes are on you anyway… might as well take advantage! Then right after the dance… it’s dinner time!

CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. Meghan and Nolan are such a sweet couple Their wedding day was full of amazing details… and I LOVE that!

We’ve worked with a LOT of very organized brides… But Meghan is in a league of her own! I SOOOO wish I could be more like that. She had the whole day planned out to the minute… and low and behold… EVERYTHING ran PERFECTLY on schedule!

Meghan and Nolan are both in school to be teachers. Meghan an art teacher and Nolan a physical education teacher. When I heard that, I immediately assumed that they met in their eduction classes. Nope…. that they didn’t even meet IN college… I think they met right before. She started as a graphic design student and he… finance…. and NOW… they’re both in education

These two got married at Meghan’s church. The priest has been in her life since she was born… he even baptised her…

They’re honeymoon was planned on the Yucatan in Mexico… HOWEVER… Hurricane Dean threw a wrench in their plans. Luckily, their travel agent was able to transfer everything to Hollywood, Florida I’m jealous… I’m ready for my second honeymoon! Hey Mike… let’s plan it

Between Rachel’s interest in meteorology and Jason’s major in Nuclear Physics… Mike was so interested. Usually… now I know this might be surprising to you… I do most of the talking… but, not this time Because well… I just ain’t smart with all that science talk.

We had three engagement sessions last week and LET ME TELL YOU… it was SOOOO HOTTTT outside!!!!! These two stayed strong the entire time!

Be ready for some swing dancing from these two on June 21!

After the great response to Bobbi’s post…with all the b-day wishes, I felt I needed to give something back (a laugh or two) to our rockin’ army of blog readers! Here are a few of my stellar senior photos…I wish the photographer been as honest as Bobbi and told me I looked like total dork and that we needed to try something different. Of course, you wouldn’t have these studly photos to look at!

 

 

My canon AE-1 I received on my 14th b-day…with my awesome sigma 70-230 (I think…). The camera stills works today, even after going 300 feet down a mountain side in Germany on a senior trip. Anyone interested in an e-bay auction? I’ll even throw in the premium, super high quality, razor-sharp, grade-A 800-1200mm f11-16 Quantary lens from the local Ritz in the mall I got when I was 18!

 

 

 

Here I am thinking I’m all hard with my Chuck Norris bag gloves (available at Service Mechandise, next to the kid’s section) sporting my massive guns…
