FORT WAYNE, Ind. Yesterday, as I was doing my usual daily blog stalking… I read this on Turtle Ponds blog: “As wedding season starts to slow down (just slightly), I keep feeling like I’m repeating myself with blog entries. However, the truth is, it’s been a wonderful year full of many amazing weddings and clients.” Amanda couldn’t have said it better… it’s SO true! Sometimes I get to this part of the blog entry and I’m blank… what do I write? How can I possibly express what an awesome day they had. If only I were a better writer… (thank you ISU journalism degree). Whatever…. I’ll try.

The day started out at Jen’s parents house… Sharon, a long time family friend, came out to do allllll of the girls hair. Oh, let me tell you… Sharon is AWESOME! I was a bit more wound up than I usually am (I know… hard to imagine) probably because the girls are just so FUN to be around.They really made me feel like I had been in their circle for years.

As you can see above… the guys had a fab time, too. Most are Purdue graduates… and Notre Dame was playing Purdue while they were getting ready. I wasn’t there… but the photos that Mikey took are SO funny!

I first met the groomsmen (who are some of the CRAAAAAAZIEST people I’ve EVER met) at the church. One asked my name…. I responded as seriously as I could possibly respond, “Bobbilicious” After that, they only referred to me as “LICIOUS” HA!

Jen and Brent, thank you SO much for EVERYTHING! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

I think that in the two hours we were there, we saw EVERY side of little Jacob. From sleeping, to crying, to being content… we saw it all. I can’t wait to see him next time to see how much his personality grows.

Jacob looks JUST like his daddy! That must be the neatest thing…. I often wonder if we had children how cool it would be to see who they end up looking like. Though, a mini me would be tooooo much for Mikey to handle. One is enough!

FORT WAYNE, Ind. I flipping love these two. LOVE THEM!

At the beginning of the session, Stephani told me that she wasn’t photogenic. I said… whatever, I don’t believe you.Looks like I was right and you were wrong…. lalalala.

Ryan’s brother Scott was officially named “Usher of the Year” in 2006… (he brought me water once during a weddinghey… it doesn’t take muchHe’s awesome ). So, that’s how these two found us. Now… Scott will be a Ryan’s best man in 2008… I have a feeling he’s going for the gold… “BEST MAN OF THE YEAR, 2008″

WORK IT OUT MIKEY!

I get lots of emails/comments from other photographers saying how “lucky” we are to live in an area with such great photo backdrop opportunities. I think that nearly EVERYWHERE can have the same opportunities… you just have to know how to use the area and the light. SO GO EXPLORING! Take a look at where we were…

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. TALK ABOUT PRESSURE! As we were shooting their engagement photos… Wayne casually mentions that they booked their wedding date around OUR availibility! OUR AVAILIBILITY! PRESSUUUUUUUURE! HOW flattering

It was the first time we officially met them… as we did all of the booking via email. Well, let me tell you… I LOVE THEM!Such a FUN FUN FUN couple! This has been a GREAT week for engagement photos!They were really up for anythingLUCKY US!
