FORT WAYNE, Ind. Mandy and Katie have been together for ten years… TEN YEARS! They met at Ball State and have been together ever since.

Mandy is a VERY faithful blog reader (WE LOVE THAT!). At the end of our session… Mandy asked when the photos would be up. I said, “We’re running about two weeks behind on the blog.” Mandy replied… “No biggie, I’m patient.” Katie laughed… we all knew the truth. As soon as I got home I had an email from Mandy, “Maybe it was the cold speaking… but I can’t wait to see them!!!!!” HA!So… thanks for being OH SO patient… HERE THEY ARE!

Another new favorite Mikey action shot. He’s hard core!

I bought these HOT (dorky) sunglasses a LONG time ago… and as we were leaving for the shoot I couldn’t find ANYTHING other than theseI always use sunglasses on shoots to keep my hair out of my face. THEY WORKED!oh…and by the way…. the reason I’m standing like that is because I’m shooting with a wide angle lens… and I need to keep my feet out of the frame (if you look closely at the first photo in this blog entry… you might see that I’m not as limber as I need to be to take it)

Mikey’s of the same set up. The two photos look TOTALLY different don’t they?! Usually I set up the shots while Mike shoots around and gets unique compositions… things that I would NEVER think of. Every once in a while during a session, we do a little role reversal and I’m having to work around him. Yeah… he’s better at that than I am.Mike… you’re so talented! (Mikey’s fave)

HOWEVER…. Mike isn’t the ONLY one who can get a cool silhouette!HA! YOU DON’T SCARE ME!

Getting up there was not an easy task… but, isn’t it a neat shot?!

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. Elias lives in California. Kari lives in D.C. And in the middle… here in Indiana… their wedding (Kari’s family lives here… HI MOM AND DAD!).They don’t see each other often due to the distance… so taking their engagement photos was incredibly easy… they were flirty, affectionate and IN LOVE! Never once did we have to ask them to “love it up” THEY WERE ALREADY THERE!

And on top of all of that… Elias and Kari are so photogenic! Elias was full of ideas and energy…. it was FABULOUS!
