 Hi friends:)It's that time again… time for our annual top lists!!!!

SOOOO…. this was THE year of family sessions for us. I'll put it to you this way, in 2008… it was a top 25 list:DWOWZERS have we photographed some of THE most incredible people! It was also the year of photographers families… below, of the 50 here… 34 of the photos are of photographers:DPretty cool, huh?

Your work makes me cry its so gorgeous. One photo in particuliar entrances me. #39. How did you get the kids blurry and the parents sharp???

I just cannot get over how fun these are! I so want you to take pictures of my family! My no. 1 fav is defintiely #22, I just love that shot!! If I had to pick a no. 2 I would pick #3, so gorgeous!

YES!!! Didn’t get a minute to comment before – but you guys made our anniversary gift just perfect for us. One of the guys (ghionis) who was speaking yesterday and talking about what an image is “worth” and he put it in terms of a family’s longevity and an image being an heirloom, etc. I thought a lot of what I heard the past couple days was bullshit, but that’s a real point – images of your own family at a certain time and in a certain way are beyond fucking value. Our grandkids will see those photos if we’re lucky and I’m so fucking happy to have ‘em. Hope you guys are relaxing and I hope your back is doin better, bobs.

seriously i have tears in my eyes…you guys should be so incredibly proud. 2009 was your “family year.” you guys were on fire, and Ryan said it right, this collection would be something people would (maybe) show as a “lifetime” portfolio- and this was just a year! we are so blessed to have met you guys, have had photos done with you, and now call you friends. what an honor to be a part of each of these families lives!! love you guys, and i know you are incredibly loved back by many. :)

I love this time of year and I love these pictures. I think I told you before that I love your family pictures as I think you showcase a true family and their energy and spirit. I love that these are family pictures but they aren’t these posed, boring, everyone wears all denim pictures. They show a family being a family together, running around, flying a kite, making cookies, goofing off and yet also show the family sharing a hug, a mother showing love for her new child or parents expressing the love for each other. I just love the family stuff, I can’t wait until one day you get to photograph mine and Anthony’s!
