Sorry I've been a bit absent We've been so busy these past couple of weeks!  Here's just a big of what we've been working on:

• designing albums
• trying to FINALLY prepare our studio for guests (and we're still far from done… argh!)
• getting ready to attend a workshop in Santa Fe….
• preparing myself to speak at local photographer event (Mike's going to be out of town… I'm doing this alllll alone…. AHHHHH!). 

So, needless to say… the blog has been a bit neglected

Angelica is such a badass… and she's famous for never smiling in photos (even though she has a BEAUUUUUTIFUL smile!)… so, I attempted my best badass face.  Yes yes yes, I know I suck at it.  Seriously, I look like an angry kisser….. WEIRD!!!!!  Please Angelica… next time we have a photo together, we're both smiling, k? I conformed for you… now you must conform for me.

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. We LOVE to watch new families interact…. how excited they are…. how new it all is… how they've found a new incredible love for someone that they've just met.  Jason and Jill are already such good parents

Here's hoping that we'll be seeing more of that ADORABLE baby on the blog Yes, that's my subtle hint. I hope it worked!

Hey team

I'll be the first to admit that it's been a rough couple of weeks… last week I maintained and then this week I gained a pound. Argh.

I sorta had an emotional break down this morning…. as in, sobbing style.  Yes, I'm dramatic.

It's just beginning to take a little toll on me… you know… to continue admitting a weekly failure.  Sure, every three weeks or so I have good news… but, it's just happening OH SO slowly. 

I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer… I'm just really bummin'.  I hope you understand.

Do you guys mind if we take a month off from reporting here?  I'm going to continue on our healthy train… and I expect you all to do the same.  We'll just have a month to work at it instead of the usual week.   THAT WAY…. we're not reporting little losses… we'll have FOUR WEEKS to try to impress each other   Sound good? Sound motivating? Does to me! Let's all meet up here again on April 10th

Because some people need accountability, you're more than welcome to keep coming back to this entry and reporting your loss every Friday in the comment section.  I'll still be keeping up my dorky little Excel list to keep track of all of you ENTIRELY up to you!

And because a post isn't a post without a picture… Here's something COMPLETELY off topic

 

I found my very first EVER bobbi branding. I think I designed this my Sophomore year of college in some design class…. HELLOOOOO PHOTOSHOP FILTER!!!!!! I actually used this ALLLLLL over my resume… I wish I could find a copy of the complete package I used to send to potential employers.  Let me break it down for you… it included a 20 page booklet of my portfolio, of course a resume… and it was enclosed with an envelope wrapped with vellum and then sealed with a wax b (just like the b you see below). Yeah, I was THAT hard core!

 

 

 Thank you ALLLLLL so much for your support and encouragement… you have no idea how much I appreciate it   I know you guys keep commenting on our action shots and how "thin" I'm looking… and thank you for that It makes me feel SOOOO good!!!!!! So THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. Noe and Alison are two very cool cats!  They're both into theatre He works as a director and she works behind the scenes and together… they're the perfecto match!  Oh, and that's how they met

Noe and Alison wanted their session to be against an urban background… so we made that happen   They didn't have any specific requests… just told us to "do our thing"  So… that's exactly what we did… You know, I think it's SO neat that we can take our clients to an old/ugly parking garage… and they never even once look at us like we're crazy!  I think they turned out neeeeeeat-o! Man oh man,  love my job!!!!!

 Their wedding is coming up in June… so you'll be seeing more of these two before you know it!
