INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. Allison and Gavin are so so SO in love, so so fun and so so perfect for each other.  I love how easily their love was captured on CF cards (I wanted to say film… as that's what would have fit in there… but uhm… it's not film. CF card doesn't have the same ring to it, does it?!).  As I was looking through them, I just saw SO many sweet little moments… and I started to tear up a bit (my diet has been making me ridiculously emotional, too).  I think it's so cool to know that they'll always have photos of them from this stage in their lives.  I SO wish that Mike and I had had a session like this when we became engaged.  Oh well :)  They remind me SO much of us…. and it's just neat to see:DI'm really not explaining myself well this morning… but, you get the idea, right? I sure do hope so.

OH and… I just have to give a HUUUUUGE shoutout to Allison… she's lost 39 pounds since September!  AYKM?!  That takes some SEEEEEEERIOUS dedication!  I can tell you this… THAT motivates me!  I feel like the two of us have similar body shapes so I know there's hope for me yet!!!!!  In case you're wondering… she's been doing Weight Watchers and has been working out religiously. I'm SO proud of you Allison!!!!!!!

Wow… 26 weeks! That's half the damn year! Wow to us, right?!

Anyway…. I LOST WEIGHT:)A bit shocking given that it's been a whirlwind of a month!  I went to a workshop where they fed us ham and enchiladas (not to mention the AMAAAAAZING gravy;)Nate even suggested I ditch the healthy train and join the gravy train, HAHAHAHA! ). I tell you, when you put yummy food in front of me, I have ZERO discipline! Then flew out to Pittsburgh for an amazing wedding (cannot WAIT to show you those images!) THENNNN Mike went to Florida for a week to left me fend for myself…. to those of you who know me,  you know that Mike spoils me… and I don't do so well on my own:D(Please know that these are not excuses… I'm just filling you all in on my month:))

Soooo, how much weight did I lose?!  Are you on the edge of your seat????:)I lost FOUR POUNDS!  Total weight loss: 19.8 pounds:DYEAHYEAHYEAHYEAHHHH!!!!!!! WOW… nearly 20 pounds?! WOWWWW!!!!!! That's a lot of poundage:)I'm about 14 pounds away from my wedding weight;)

About three weeks ago, after being SO discouraged… I had my resting metabolism rate measured.  Given my height, weight and age… they guessed it to be around 1560.  The results? 1130. WOW!!!!!! Scary low. THEN I got even MORE discouraged and almost gave up… had a few bad days in there to prove it:)I've since been trying to alter my diet to fix that.  I'll keep you all in the loop with all of that stuff….

UPDATED MEASUREMENTS!!!!

Since week one (October 4) of the Healthy Train:

Weight: -19.8lbs

Arms: -2"

Chest: -2.5"

Waist: -4.5"

Hips: -2.75"

Thighs: -4"

TOTAL: -15.75"

 

Since January 5, 2008:

Weight: -26lbs

Arms: -3"

Chest: -2.5"

Waist: -5"

Hips: -3.75"

Thighs: -5" (that number STILL shocks me!)

TOTAL: -19.25"

 

I like this once a month thing MUCH better than every Friday, don't you?!

Now to my favorite part of the healthy train:)BEFORE AND AFTERS!!!!!!

 

First one taken 10.14.08… the second one taken 20 minutes ago.

Edited to add: I just noticed there are more shadows in the newest photo…. which aren't doing me any favors…. I should retake it:)Yeah, I'm hardcore!!!!

 

Here's the thing I find most shocking…. Uhhh…. WOW! (I'm feeling all America's Top Model with the "100% crop") Now, I'm still quite chubby cheeked… but I always will be:)Also, it's a bit deceiving because my hair is in my face in the newest photo, but whateva… you get the idea!!!!! 

So, there you have it:)My updates.  Pretty cool, huh!? For this next weigh in… let's do it Celebrity Fit Club style and get a goal.:DMine is… 6 pounds by May 15th.:DWhat's yours?

To any of you who visited the blog on Monday, you may have noticed a little $10 iTunes gift card contest:)It was for whoever could name the other couples session that was posed on newspaper stands.

 

 Someone guessed Corrie and Jeff… However, they're leaning against… (hey, it's a technicality, don't be mad… I can't give EVERYONE the giftcard!) By the way, YOU MY BEST FRIEND GRIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be completely honest, I'm a bit shocked that someone guessed it.:)This session isn't even on our current blog… so you would have just had to remember from the old days.  And yes yes yes, Libby remembered:DTHANK YOU Libby for guessing… I was feeling REALLY guilty for making the contest so hard!!!! But usually our contests end within 15 minutes because I make them too easy! 

Another little tidbit about that session… it was our first everrrrr urban style shoot (we had JUST moved to Indianapolis a week before). This session inspired us in SO many ways… and it really was the foundation for the style that we shoot today.  Yeah, that's deep!

This is the 5th couple of our Cincinnati group who's getting married (and our last one currently on our calendar).  WE LOVE THIS GROUP!  By the way, I'm all about team names… so if you guys could come up with that, that'd be great (as long as Mike and I can be the coaches:D) We really don't want to stop photographing "Team _________" So, hurry up guys and GET ENGAGED!!!!!!

 Okay, I lose the intense competition to Mike.  AYKM TO THIS?! He JUMPED up onto this big ol' branch to try and get a different perspective.  Thanks for being there Ryan for the assist! I was too busy taking his photo… HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

 

….however, this was as far as he got:)He couldn't fully swing himself around…. but had the cuts on his arm to prove his valor.:)Maybe I'm a pervo… but this doesn't look like "climbing a tree" to me.:DHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
