Lauren and Robbie (from openField) came into town a week ago just for a fun little friends weekend:D

Lauren has been wanting to buy either a 35mm 1.4 or the 24mm 1.4.  So, while she was here, she experimented with ours…. and needed a model:)And that's where I stepped in:DShe took them on one of our memory cards.. and when I saw that the images were still here, I couldn't help but start playing with them!

She took some of my favorites photos of me ever…. and as a bonus, I'm standing next to my brand new hand made beloved curtains.:)(more on those later…)

…later that night… it was Nintendo 64 Tetris time!  They even rearranged our living room so they could see the TV better.:)Look at how INTENSE they are!!!! We even managed to get Lauren HOOKED on Dr. Mario!:)

 So what were the guys doing while the girls were getting prettified? GO-CARTING!!!!! 

 

  Nothing wrong with a little Mister T style gold medal BLING. (Technically, he came in 4th… but he's the groom… so, he sort of won by default:))

 

 He rides that little scooter to work everyday… gets like 100 mpg. Yeah, that's very cool.

 

 …and true to bobbi+mike style… we found an abandoned truck…

  Ryan's Dad is a highly sought after DJ and does professional lighting for events… He did alllll of the lighting that day and I tell you, it was PHENOMENAL!!!!!! I hope he and his team travel to Indianapolis:)Check him out here. 

 

CINCINNATI, Ohio. Writing the blog entry is often the hardest part for me… but I'll try.:)

First and foremost, Katie and Ryan are SUCH an incredible couple. We came home from this wedding and I couldn't sleep because I couldn't stop talking about how much fun we had that day. (Mike, however, was ready for me to shut up so he could sleep peacefully:))

Now, of course it's important to mention, if you didn't already notice (or if you're new to the blog)… this is our group… you know, the famous Cincinnati group:)We're the lucky ones who get to photograph all of their weddings. No worries… there will be more:DI'm quite convinced of it… none are currently on the books.. but there are plenty of them left who aren't yet married…. :D 

I just can't believe that having so much fun, loving so many people, standing right next to some of our favorite people on the biggest day of their lives is really our job?? MAN OH MAN WE ADORE THESE TWO!

We love you guys, and feel TRULY honored to be your wedding photographers.:)

Miss you already… but we'll see you soon, guaranteed.

DAYTON, Ohio. First thing you all should know is that Carmen is an INCREDIBLY talented photographer in Dayton:)Boy oh boy, it's SUCH an honor to be asked by a photographer for a session. Needless to say, I STILL get ridiculously nervous when shooting photographers… wouldn't you?!

She first emailed us in 2008 requesting a session as they've never had a family photo done. Well…. at that point, we were all booked up for the year :(  Fast forward to February 2009 when we were in Vegas for a photography convention, we officially got to meet her… and got the ball rolling again… we've been excited  about this session since.:D

We've never photographed a family with four young kids. The MOST was maybe 2? I can't remember.  If there's anything we learned that day… It's MUCH harder than it looks! It's TOUGH to get allllll four kids facing forward and alllllll four kids to be happy alllllll at the same time. I have a WHOLE new respect for you Tara! (Tara's the QUEEN BEE of family photographers… and also happens to have four kids herself, WOWZA)

To four of our new favorite boys, thanks for having so much fun with us!:DYou guys are all so charming and have SUCH distinct personalities… I cannot WAIT to see where your future takes you:)

Maybe you remembered, maybe you didn't…. but the TIME has come for my weight loss report:)Now you all know that this weight has not come off quickly… and it's been VERY hard for me emotionally.  It doesn't help that I'm SUCH a drama queen either!  But as cliche as it sounds… slow and steady wins the race!:)Okay, that was dumb…. but whatever, you get it.  

TOTAL weight loss over the last 31 weeks:  23.6 pounds

TOTAL weight loss since the first healthy train:  30 POUNDS BABY!!!!!

OOOOKAY… I'm going to show you photos that are REALLY hard for me to post… but whatever, I've come quite far… As a matter of fact, I haven't even LOOKED at these photos since Mike took them back in October… they were just WAY too hard for me to look at…

Many of you would say, "I WISH YOU'D TAKEN PHOTOS FROM THE SIDE!!! THAT WOULD REEEEEALLY SHOW YOUR WEIGHT LOSS!" Well, I've been not responding to those because I have been all along… but uhm… it's ONE thing to show you me from the front… but COME ON… from the back and side?! Now THAT's tough!  

For those of you who know me and have met me personally… you may have noticed that I have quite the double chin… I'm SUPER paranoid about it… and to be honest, THAT'S the reason I don't allow anyone to photograph me.:)Because I KNOW that someone is going to want to photograph me from the side.:)I'm pretty good at posing myself so that no one ever sees it… UNTIL NOW :D 

SOOOO…. here are some FOR REAL before and afters!!!!! Jeezelouise I can't believe I'm SHOWING you these!!!! Talk about feeling vulnerable… WOWZAS!

 

Uhm… you can even tell NOW by the way that I'm standing that I'm completely insecure getting my photo taken from the side.  WHATEVER!  Check out my belly! MY LEGS! Even my chin has gotten smaller!!!!!

 

HOLY COWABUNGA>.. I CANNOT BELIEVE I'M SHOWING YOU THESE!!!! My arms are still quite chubby…  Man oh man, I had some serious backfat and love handles goin' on!!!! PS. don't mind my TAG sticking out!

 

And FINALLY…:)All of that Pilates is beginning to straighten me out.  See how crookedly I'm standing in the photo on the left? Still a bit on the right, too… but not NEARLY as bad.  

 

What a DIFFERENCE 26 pounds makes!!!!!! By the way… HELLOOOO LAST NOTCH IN THE BELT!!!! If you look above, you'll see that pink flower was in the center of the buckle.  Yeah, that makes me feel good!

 

So, how did you guys do?! By the way, I'm going to quit making the list… it was getting to be quite the job to keep up with it (and we're getting busier by the second).
