Proud of these images my friends…
The ladies got ready at the Omni… my favorite Indianapolis hotel to photograph “getting ready” images. The window light is divine!
Julianne and her mom… that dimple? Same/same! These next three images were all taken within about 1 minute, and all taken from nearly the exact same spot.

Pretty neat, eh?
Kevin is a dentist… and this was his only requested image.
Here Kevin’s telling a very funny story about some marriage advice he received…
Often my very favorite part of the entire wedding day. The alone time the bride has with her dad right before she walks down the aisle. It’s one of my favorite things about this job… the exclusive view.
The flower girls sprinted down the aisle. See the maid of honor standing there? That’s their mom.
This incredible church never loses its wonder.
I’m a photo ninja…
Oh hellooooo hot tamales! Oh, and Kevin’s gray three piece suit… It’s so money. If in doubt, go gray!
Hey black socks on the right, I’m not judging you.

Bring it in tight!
WHOA! These two are ridiculously good looking! It’s almost an unfair advantage for team bbmk!
SEEEEE! Ridiculous!
Reception time!
These two looooved to dance! I have a feeling there is a photo like this of these two taken at every wedding they’ve ever attended.
The view from The Mavris.
That girl on the right, her name is Maddy… she asked to be on the blog, so here it is.
BTW Maddy, when you get engaged in like 5-10 years, call us, k? K. :D Freckles like those are my favorite to photograph!
Many of you who know I love to play the “what famous person do you look like” game (I’m not very good at it anymore because I quit celebrity gossip a few years ago ((I sound like a recovering addict!)) Anyway… ). Here’s Julianne’s brother David… I was creeper staring at him while shooting the groomsmen, he looked just like someone, I mean exaaaactly like someone famous and I couldn’t place it. At the reception, it hit me! Remember that movie, “Vegas Vacation” with Chevy Chase? Remember the son, Rusty? His real name is Ethan Embry… and that’s who David looks like. BOOM! BRING IT!
Loved this party…

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
julianne: Walking down the aisle! I always had seen everyone else do it (because that’s how weddings work, I guess). When it was actually my turn, I felt such an emotional rush with everyone standing up and looking at ME! I had known for weeks everyone who was going to be there, but then I actually saw them all there. So cool! And the best part….at the end of aisle there was my husband-to-be!
Any advice for future bride/grooms?
julianne: Enjoy and appreciate every moment. You’ve planned and planned and planned. And then it just happens. No matter what happens, just enjoy everything and soak it all in.
kevin: Stay together during the reception. It’s such an amazing thing getting to party with all of your friends and family, and it’s even better when you take in all of the congratulations and good times with your better half.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
julianne: Hearing about our flower girls (my nieces) sprinting down the aisle. I only wish I could have been a witness!
kevin: Sitting silently during the wedding constantly hearing Julianne’s stomach growling….mmmmuuuaaaaghhhhghhghahhg (Julianne: ha, yep true).
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
julianne: It was the perfect day. I only wish we could have added a few more hours in the day.
kevin: Our reception venue was by the Indianapolis Helipad. If I could do it over, I would have left the reception by grabbing Julianne with one arm and a rope ladder attached to a hovering helicopter ready to wisk us away to our hotel. (Best answer to this question… ever!)
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We are going on a delayed honeymoon in December and will be traveling to Hawaii. Peace out, winter!
I probably have over 100 images of me jusssst like this taken in every church we’ve ever photographed.

Julianne and Kevin, thanks for being you. I loved every second of your day.
Much love new friends!

Thank you
…meanwhile…
Here’s Alli with all of her very best friends.
…and Kyle with his!
That’s Alli’s dad on the right rehearsing his part for the ceremony. By the way, how absolutely adorable are those flower girls?!
Kyle doing the same…

I put that photo in above just to see if you would yawn.
Here are Kyle’s parents as he read his vows to Alli…
Alli and Kyle got married on her family’s property. In the midst of the ceremony they planted a tree. Isn’t that such a neat idea?!
YOU’RE MARRRRRIED!!!!!
Then all of the guests followed Alli and Kyle and they walked ten miles back to the reception area. Okay, I’m lying.. it wasn’t ten miles (more like half a mile), but it makes for a good story, right?!
Hail hail the gang’s all here!
A few portraits of the newlyweds!
Wacky Bobbi strikes again!
The guy who was MCing their reception saw us taking this and made a remark on the mic as soon as we all entered… “I just saw Alli and Kyle sitting in the road for a picture… Uhm… I’d like to see that one!” Well, here you go!
Favorite…!
I always love the first dance…

All brides should wear shoes that aren’t white… it should be some sort of requirement!
Meanwhile…
Dan’s shoes weren’t nearly as fancy… but I bet they were more comfortable!
Uhm okay… you just went from “cute” to freaking GORGEOUS! Mary, you are so Gaga.
Holy huge bridal party batman! Aren’t their dresses fun!?
I don’t know where that backdrop for their ceremony came from but it’s awesome!
Love this.
Mary is one of four girls… four girls who happen to be incredible women. The first three ladies on the bottom row with the dark hair… there they are!
And now there is a granddaughter… meet Jagger. How badass is that name?! Angie, you can’t be mad when someday she looks at you and says, “Look mom, you can’t always get what you want…” I’m hilarious I tell ya!
Love the mis-matched dresses!
Hot tamales!
Morgan, Jen and Casey win for best wedding party entrance of all time.
And for the biggest tear jerker of a toast of all time… that hands down goes to Mary’s dad Larry! He wrote her a song and sang it while his wife and daughters stood by his side (that’s Mary’s cousin ((I think)) holding the piece of paper). Everyone, to include yours truly, was in a huge pile of tears. Larry, you win at life!
Our favorite.
Oh hellooooo yoga instructor!
That jump on the left, it started prettier than it ended.
Loved this party!

Before Ezra was even conceived, she was planning this session with us.
Now let’s talk about baby Ezra, are you kidding me with his cuteness?! He looks nearly identical to his daddy.
These were taken at dawn. With this ridiculous heat we’re experiencing in the midwest… AM sessions are where it’s at (it’s 20°-25° cooler)!
He’s such a busy body!
Then we headed back to their house. Love this.
He’s a new crawler… we’d blink and he’d be off! Look at that form! With those curled toes he’ll make an excellent diver.
Click click click…
And he’s off again!

So much love in this house…
I want a photo like this with my mom and dad.
Ezra, I feel the same way…
