Lizzi's job was to make sure that Allison and Gavin didn't see each other before the ceremony… here she is showing us her intimidation tactics. It worked… there were ABSOLUTELY no pre-ceremony sightings! For the "GET MARRIED LIKE A CHAMPION TODAY" sign… knowing that the wedding took place in Notre Dame land (South Bend) might explain it a little better

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I think this was the part of the day that Gavin was most excited about! Allison was attempting to schmooze Gavin with a kiss while trying to sneak in some more cake… he was having none of it.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. I'm speechless… I feel like anything I say will not be able to put into words the fabulousness that is Allison and Gavin… and their amazing wedding day. Allison and Gavin are the type of people who as soon as you meet them, you feel like you've known them for years. We felt like old friends who were there as guests… who happened to have really nice cameras
Okay… so the ABSOLUTE FUNNNNNNIEST thing happened…. that I'm guessing is a wedding photographer first.If you follow me on Twitter… you may have seen a tweet a few weeks ago that read, "The groom requested a photo with mike. Mike joked that they should shove cake in each others faces. That joke soon turned into a reality! :)" I KID you not… that is EXACTLY how it went down (in 140 characters or less :D).
At the VERY end of the night… Allison and Gavin realized that they needed to cut the grooms cake… we grabbed our flashes and headed over.Right after… Gavin said, "Hey Bob, can you get a photo of me with Mike." Mike, (who loves EVERYTHING chocolate) then jokingly says… "Should we feed each other the cake." And BEFORE I even had my camera up… Gavin was serving up a BIG OL' piece of cake… he was READY! At this point, there was no turning back. Mike said, "sooooo… how far do you want to take this?" Gavin's response, "it's all fair game… just don't get it on the tux." AND AWWWWWWAYYYYYYY THEY WENNNNNNNT!!!!!! Allison and I were in pure shock.
Mike and Gavin then decided to head into the photo booth… those photos are hanging on his bulletin board… he's so proud!
That night, as we both laid in bed giggling about the whole ordeal Mike proclaimed, "I kid you not… I have chocolate boogars!" Then, the next morning Gavin sent Mike a text, "Is it a problem that I woke up still tasting chocolate through my nose? nope… just means I don't need breakfast." HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Mike has finally met his match.
