I’ve seriously been SO excited to show you these! You’re about to fall in love with this couple, I guarantee it.

Heeeere youuuuuu gooooo… bbmk workshop #10!Shawn is the brother of Sara, a bride that we photographed back in 2008… when we met them then, they were newly engaged. Since then, they’ve gotten married and have a perfect son named Grayson. When Jessica emailed and said she’d be interested in being a workshop model… I couldn’t have been more excited! While processing these, my face hurt from smiling so much… No lie!Are you kidding me with how much love is in this image?! AHHHH!!!!! My favorite:!:Shawn’s dimples?! LOVE THEM!You can’t tell by looking at these images, as the two of them look SO stinking happy, but the weather this day… well let’s just say that if it weren’t a workshop session, we probably would have rescheduled. It was pouring rain all the way up until the session and the wind chill was in the teens. To be frank, it was down-right miserable. These two handled it like champs! On behalf of the workshop attendees, we are so very thankful for the two of you!Loving those boots!Whoa?!;)If you guys could see where we photographed this… You’d be throwing us high fives! Mike’s favorite:?:A smiling/cheering hamburger and fries?! Don’t mind if we do!Then we ended our session in a field…Jessica, you are so ridiculously cute…. I can’t stand it!OHHHH how we adore you two!!!

We saw each other everyday for two weeks after first meeting, which is how long it took him to get up the nerve to kiss me!”

Meet Sarah and Brian… they’ve been married for eight years, have four sons… and have never had photos taken alone.:)On the surface, photographing engaged couples and married couples seems to be the same thing, though it’s actually not the same at all. There’s a completely different kind of love between two people who’ve been married for a long time/have raised children, verses those who’ve been dating for a couple of years. There’s a different kind of comfort, passion, security, love, confidence that they’ve developed. These two were the epitome of all of those things.  They love the shiz out of each other.:)See what I mean? My favorite:!:This is one of my favorite images of a couple that I’ve ever taken. Ever. Right after I took this, I turned around and said… “I just took a photo of marriage.”Let’s take  a second to talk about Sarah’s dimples. ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THOSE THINGS?! Oh, I should mention that it was absolutely freezing this afternoon! You sure can’t tell by looking at these…:)
You two are ridiculously cute!To all of you out there who are married and have never had photos taken alone… you owe it to your future generations to make it happen. Look at this image through their sons’ eyes in 40 years. Yep, told you it was important.

Man oh man have I been excited to show you these… not only because the people in the images are gorgeous… but because Kelsey is my sister.

“BOBBI HAS A SISTER?!” Yes, I actually have four siblings.:)My dad remarried after my parents divorced and they had four children… (in order from oldest to youngest) Kelsey, Kaitlinn, Joey and Breanna.

I know what you’re thinking… “They don’t look much alike…”  You’re right. However, we sure do act a lot alike!  One of my other sisters is the nearly the spittin’ image of me… well, the super thin version of me anyway.;)

Up until two weeks ago (when she and her husband came to Indianapolis to visit us)… I hadn’t seen her in twelve years. She’s now 24. For you math geniuses out there, yes yes yes…  she had doubled in age since I’d last seen her. WOWEEEE is she a beautiful woman! Kelsey went from that awkward stage we all know and love of twelve to the blossoming gorgeous age of 24… what a transition! That being said, while she’s one of the most beautiful women in the history of the world… she’s still the same goofball she’s always been. Though Kelsey and I haven’t seen each other in many years, we’ve always been close. When she walked in the door, we both started crying.

While they were here, I insisted on taking a few photos of them.:)So, the last day they were here we stepped out for half an hour and made it happen.

Starting things off with my favorite.:!:

Kelsey’s always been so fashionable!I absolutely adore Anthony.  He loves Kelsey so incredibly much. Anthony is intelligent, patient, handsome, humble, driven, badass, genuine and couldn’t be more perfect for Kelsey. He’s actually a lot like my Mike, if I do say so myself!:)The light this afternoon was sexy! Those boots?! Yes please!Have I mentioned how beautiful she is?! Holy cowabunga!Love. Their hands say everything.

Kelsey, I promise to never EVER again go that long without seeing you. I’m so glad you made the trip here. I love and miss you hugely!

Love you both.

laura+jeromy

While in Vegas, we held a few private consults:D

Meet Laura and Jeromy… a ridiculously-in-love husband and wife photo team based in Louisiana.:)

They were curious to see how we interacted with people during a session… so, in the midst of the consult, we headed outside and took a quick walk around our hotel.

…and by quick I mean that these images were taken in about 15-ish minutes.
They’ve been married for 9 years… together for 14. The love, respect and trust they have for each other is obvious… if you’ve ever been in the same room with these two, you know exactly what I mean! They’re from Southern Louisiana.:DJeromy has a pretty killer cajun accent to prove it! I’d never heard anything like it before and found it fascinating. If you don’t know what it sounds like, do a YouTube search… It’s a combination of mostly French and English with African and Indian mixed in too (errr…. That’s what google told me…..).:)Oh, I haven’t mentioned yet… the have five children. FIVE! The latest… twins! :D Right at the very end of the quickie session, I had this kooky idea to really show their size difference.:DYou see, he’s 6′ and strong…. while she’s 5′ and oh so petite. I said, “Laura, can you hang on to Jeromy like a backpack… hiding your face?” She did it perfectly! Then I said to Jeromy, “Look at me like… you know… my backpack’s hotter than your backpack… you gotta problem with that?!” And BOOM! Our favorite:!:+:?:Good work Team Reaux!
Then I walked up closer, “Laura, I want you to give me the ‘What?! You have a problem with hot backpacks?!! Bring it…’ ”  I seriously couldn’t stop laughing about this! Actually, I’m still not done laughing about it! HAHAHAHAAAA!!!! Thanks you two for playing along with my silliness!
