HELLOOOOOOOOO ANNIE! Most of you already know Annie… as she’s the most famous person to ever appear on this blog. I like to name drop my friendship with her as much as I can… I’m convinced that it makes people like me

When Annie suggested starting her maternity session doing yoga… I was THRILLED with the idea! Yoga has been a large part of her pregnancy… and incorporating it was genius!:::ENTER NAME DROP HERE::: Annie is a friend of ours who has been a LONG time client.  If you don’t know Annie… she has a ridiculously successful cooking blog. You know… THE ANNIE of Annie’s Eats. ::: NAME DROP OVER ::: :D Are you impressed yet? Do you want to be my friend now? She, along with her family, are in the top three most blogged people on this site.I’m absolutely in LOVE with this image. That baby in Annie’s belly is a baby girl named Caroline.  That picture on the wall? That’s a photo of Annie’s mom, Caroline’s grandma.favorites.Annie, have you aged a DAY since we first met you?! No… really… HAVE YOU?! You’re one of the most beautiful people I know. Both inside and out… For the last 20 minutes of the session we headed outside.There were a few people who wrote me on Twitter and Facebook who said you saw us out there shooting.Hi to you guys! GAHHHHH!!!!! GORGEOUS!!!!!! That image on the right? Andrew was a little upset because he’d rather explore the field with his new friend Robbie than get his photo taken. Momma to the rescue! After a few minutes of hanging out with mom, he was goooood to go! Ben is SUCH an amazing dad. He’s a 4th grade teacher and has the patience of…. well…. a 4th grade teacher!

If Mike and I ever decide to have a family… if we turn out half as amazing as the families that we photographed in Texas, I’d consider myself a lucky girl.

Like a mechanic’s car that is always broken… or a window washer with dirty windows… Photographers rarely get their photo taken :) ((guilty)).  You see, like many other photographers that we photo’d in Texas… this was their first ever family session.  Rebecca-Linh and her husband Mike knew it was time to make it happenThey asked us. We said yes. The rest… is… history

Mike’s view. Yes yes yes, your eyes are not deceiving you. That’s a kitchen table… in a field! Rebecca-Linh had but one request… to incorporate that table!  You see, Michael is a fancy chef… AKA, the executive chef at Maggiano’s in Houston. AKA… YUMTOWN, USA! So, needless to say… they spend a lot of time around their kitchen table. It made perfecto sense to meI adore these girls’ little outfitsNice work Rebecca-Linh!

Aja, the little lady with the dark hair on the left… is sweet as can be… and also a bit shy. Getting her to come out of her shell and show us that amazing smile might just be my favorite accomplishment of that weekHow sweet is this family?!

Texas session #7 of 8

Introducing to you… THE most adorable family of three living in Houston! The Crayola kid in me LOVES these primary colors they wore.

An outfit and location change later… and badaboom badabing… AWESOME FREAKING LIGHT!  By the time we got to our new spot Brody had fallen asleep.  We took advantage of the time and photographed the two of them aloneTyan, you’re 100% absolutely gorgeous
