Just as an FYI… we're 100% booked up for year for portrait sessions.  However, there will be a day in late October where we'll be doing a rapid-fire style "Christmas card photo" day…. as in, we shoot twenty mini sessions in one day, back to back to back If you're interested…. keep an eye on our blog for more info on that (That's tentatively set for November 1st)

For weddings, we're booked up through September.  However, these Saturdays are still available

As for 2010….

February is closed (we have a family thing that month)

Yes yes yes, I know I haven't updated in over a week. 

For the past month, we've been running around like CRAZY getting everything done and ready for all of the holiday deadlines.  Then, we headed to KC for a few days… so needless to say, it's been quite hectic around here

yeah yeah yeah, I know it's SO easy to misspell my name.  instead of two b's… often times people accidentally type two o's.  

As a matter of fact… the FIRST time my name was EVER published in a phone book it was written as "Boobi Sheridan"  I found out by calling in a pizza.  The guy, looking at his caller ID started snickering and said, "should we have this delivered to Boobi?" 

"WHAT?!??!!!?" I exclaimed! Mike thought it was hilarious. 

Then… when that package above was delivered by the FedEx guy… again, the snickering.  "I think they misspelled your name!"

"No sh*t sherlock!" 

Whatever… if you can't laugh at yourself… who can you laugh at?!

Don't worry though!  If you're an early '09 bride who still needs an engagement session, we'll fit you in this fall.

We would LOOOOVVVEEE to take more sessions this summer/fall, but we have literally run out of dates to shoot. Thanks to everyone who's made and is making '08 great!  (we're cheeseballs, deal with it!)

And LIKE ALWAYS… what's a photo blog without a photo?!

This one brings me much happiness!  Why?  It was taken at the AMAAAAAAZING wedding of andrea+andy (who I LOVE!).  And it was taken BY the AMAAAAAAZING Kate (who I also LOOOOOVE!!!!).  In this photo I'm wearing bridesmaid Liz's AWESOME sunglasses, a flower from some random bouquet and a kids clip on tie that was left in the middle of the dance floor.  Hey… I wanted to be pretty for our photo with the b&g :D  We were setting Kate up to take the photo of all of us… and she took a few test shots ;)  I look SO funny in this photo!!!!!! LOVE YOU ANDREA+KATE!!!!!!

Mike and I were talking on our trip out to Ohio last week… and noticed in our schedules that we have two weeks with nothing scheduled in February. Well… we all know that the phone isn’t ringing off the hook for February portrait sessions here in Indy (it’s a bit cooooooold here) so we were thinking of going on a couple of trips.

We were VERY surprised at the response for Grand Rapids (who knew people in GR even knew we existed?!) SOOOO… We’ve gotten a LOT of inquiries from Texas and a few from North Carolina.

What if we were in North Carolina from February 7 through the 10th? (we’ll be leaving on the 11th) Would any of you guys out there be interested? If we can book at least six sessions (with $100 deposit) we’re on our way. We’ll fly into Raleigh Durham and willing to travel to Charlotte and Wilmington (where I have family ) HOW FUN WOULD THAT BE?!

And for Texas, we’re thinking February 13 – 16th (leaving on the 17th). We’d probably fly into Austin… because that’s pretty much in between San Antonio and Houston. For Texas, we’ll need to book 8 sessions (again, with a $100 deposit) and if we can do that… COUNT US IN!

I’m ALSO thinking of making a little pit stop from Vegas over to Denver February 21st – 24th. So if any of you Denver peeps want some photos, LET’S MAKE IT HAPPEN!

One more thing… We’ll DEFINITELY be in Kansas City February 27th – March 2nd, so we’d LOVE to photo you guys there

I REALLY hope we have some blog readers in all of the above mentioned places Because Mikey and I LOVE to travel, LOVE LOVE LOVE it! (can’t you tell?!) Email me if you have ANY questions or to get this scheduled! YEAHHHHH!!!!!!!

And how boring is a photo bloggers blog without a photo?! So, here’s Mikey and me in Vegas last year. You guys have already seen this one… but it’s my favorite, so I mixed it up a bit and made it black and white.

So, I know this is all wishful thinking… but we thought it was worth a shot anyway

For some reason, my web host decided to RANDOMLY change my FTP password without telling me!!!!!! That password is associated with the wordpress database.

After sending numerous emails to my webhost, I get a “oh, try ______ password.” ARGH!!!!!!!!!

Alright… a stupid story….

Last week, the Turtles invited me over for pizza and a movie (Mike wasn’t feeling well… so, it was just me). YAY! I’m a very picky pizza eater… as in I HATE onions on ANYTHING… So last minute Nate thought it would be better to get frozen pizzas because well… they like weird food (olives, green peppers, onions, etc.. BLEH!). ANYWAY… He calls me from the grocery store and asks… “what kind of frozen pizza do you like?

I respond, “I like Totino’s Party Pizza… you know, the 99¢ ones.”

“Are you serious?” He asked.

“Yep! They’re my favorite!”

“Amanda’s gonna think I was cheap, but whatever you say…”

So, I get there… and soon after Nate shows up from the grocery store. He shows Amanda the two pizzas and she says, “NO! You didn’t buy THAT!”

He looks at me and says, “told you she’d be mad!” It was funny.

I guess I’m a cheap date… NO SHAME!

YUM!

When the pizzas were on the oven… I said… “TAKE A PHOTO… THAT’S FUNNY!” And so now, I’m blogging it

We never really got around to the movie part… we talk too much for a movie Man, I had a great time!

Oh, and by the way the above photo was taken with the BRAND SPANKIN’ NEW Nikon D3 with the 24-70 2.8. WOW!!!! As an ex Nikon user I can say that camera is FLIPPING AMAZING!!!!!! While I’m VERY happy with my switch to Canon…. Nikon has definitely upped their game. I shot with it while I was there and WOWOWOWOWOW! Nate was shooting at 25,600 ISO and the photos were, given the high ISO, AWESOME!!!!!! By the way… that’s not a typo… 25,600 ISO… WOW!
