KANSAS CITY, Mo. She had NO idea I was coming… I called Jeff right after Zachary was born to set up a time to come surprise her. So, about a week after he was born I knocked on their door. I heard people inside scurrying quickly around (she was breastfeeding and they were covering her up). Jeff opened the door… and I walked in to find her covered in blankets… she started SOBBING! "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE HERE! I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE HERE!" Of course I started crying too. That might have been the BEST surprise I've EVER pulled out of my hat.
Zachary is so perfect in every way. WOW! I can't believe she's a mom!!!!!!!! And, she's perfect at it… The way she looks at him, how relaxed she is, how happy she is… it's unreal. You two are amazing parents
I wonder if he'll be an athlete? I'm sure he will be. Corrie was a hardcore competitive athlete in high school.. she was the best one in every sport she played. Maybe I'm partial… but you should have seen her run. WOW! And the photos of Jeff's arms above… seriously, need I say more?! I cannot wait to watch Zachary grow up!
