happy 50th birthday momba!

A few things:

  1. I still can’t believe so many of you stuck around for that. Thanks, BIG BIG BIGGGGGG time!!!!!!!
  2. I lost my voice, excuse the squeaking.:)Go figure… Bobbi talking too much?!
  3. I’m holding a phone because we were originally going to try and call her but couldn’t get signal (AT&T rocks…). Dale to the rescue to take a video with his 5D mark II. Without his help we wouldn’t have been able to do any of this, so thanks for being amazing Dale… You REALLY are the best.
  4. I’m kind of a show stealer, sorry Mikey!
  5. For those who knew about my brush catastrophe… RIGHT after this presentation, I was able to find one! (hadn’t brushed my hair in THREE days… BLEH! Thanks TSA!)
  6. To anyone in Vegas who wanted to see our presentation and missed it, we’ll be speaking again today and tomorrow at the mpixpro booth at 12:30. BE THERE OR BE SQUARE! Oh, yes… square sucks so, I’ll see you then;)
  7. I’ll write a proper, more fitting 50th birthday blog entry for my mom once I get to Kansas City for her birthday celebration!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMBA!!!!!!!!! You are the most beautiful 50 year old woman I know, without a question. Love you.

Bobbi & Mikey are the best daughter and son-in-law a Momba can have. They have made my 50th Birthday the most memorable ever. Bobbi & Mikey put together an album of my life, from birth to date. My family in KC &amp Pheonix contributed photos and memories. I have never felt more special and so loved in my entire life. I cried and cried the happiest tears. We had a party last night in KC. I saw friends that I haven’t seen since I was a kid and family that flew and drove miles to be there. Bobbi and Mikey once again went over the top. They set up a photo booth so that all the party got photos taken with yours truly. My Best friend in Indy was also there for the festivities. I am so blessed. Thank you Bobbi and MIkey. I love more than words could ever express.

We had an airport mishap on the 10th, so we ended up coming back to the MGM for one more day of WPPI. We were super frustrated, but I’m so glad that we ended up coming back because my husband and I were able to listen to you speak. You two are absolutely refreshing. Thanks for sharing such great insight, but more than that, thanks for being so real! Hope we can meet some time…next year in Vegas, if not before! :)

I absolutely loved you two. I love the energy you brough and I can relate to the “goofy” times. I often wondered if I should reel it in at times and now know I SHOULDN”T! It was great watching you both speak (well, mostly you) but I gained a ton. I also LOVED the way your husband would watch you talk and he just had this look of LOVE in his eyes, like you were amazing. He saw you like we saw you and I LOVE THAT! Too freakin funny! First of all, so glad you were able to wrangle us up to wish your Mamba Happy B-day, and second of all…..you two ROCK!!! I really, truly mean it. No, Bobbi – you weren’t the most “polished” speaker we heard, but you were by far the most engaging, entertaining and as you put it ” ridiculously inappropriate”. I appreciated you saying it like it is as I too, am the same way – maybe not QUITE as crazy as you, but definately as revved up about shooting. Brooke and I got a lot out of your presentation and you were both definately the HIGHLIGHT of our trip to Vegas. Now you just need to make a trip up here to Canadaland so we can hang! Thanks so much for being such an inspiration:)
