healthy train | week 26.

 

Wow… 26 weeks! That's half the damn year! Wow to us, right?!

Anyway…. I LOST WEIGHT:)A bit shocking given that it's been a whirlwind of a month!  I went to a workshop where they fed us ham and enchiladas (not to mention the AMAAAAAZING gravy;)Nate even suggested I ditch the healthy train and join the gravy train, HAHAHAHA! ). I tell you, when you put yummy food in front of me, I have ZERO discipline! Then flew out to Pittsburgh for an amazing wedding (cannot WAIT to show you those images!) THENNNN Mike went to Florida for a week to left me fend for myself…. to those of you who know me,  you know that Mike spoils me… and I don't do so well on my own:D(Please know that these are not excuses… I'm just filling you all in on my month:))

Soooo, how much weight did I lose?!  Are you on the edge of your seat????:)I lost FOUR POUNDS!  Total weight loss: 19.8 pounds:DYEAHYEAHYEAHYEAHHHH!!!!!!! WOW… nearly 20 pounds?! WOWWWW!!!!!! That's a lot of poundage:)I'm about 14 pounds away from my wedding weight;)

About three weeks ago, after being SO discouraged… I had my resting metabolism rate measured.  Given my height, weight and age… they guessed it to be around 1560.  The results? 1130. WOW!!!!!! Scary low. THEN I got even MORE discouraged and almost gave up… had a few bad days in there to prove it:)I've since been trying to alter my diet to fix that.  I'll keep you all in the loop with all of that stuff….

UPDATED MEASUREMENTS!!!!

Since week one (October 4) of the Healthy Train:

Weight: -19.8lbs

Arms: -2"

Chest: -2.5"

Waist: -4.5"

Hips: -2.75"

Thighs: -4"

TOTAL: -15.75"

 

Since January 5, 2008:

Weight: -26lbs

Arms: -3"

Chest: -2.5"

Waist: -5"

Hips: -3.75"

Thighs: -5" (that number STILL shocks me!)

TOTAL: -19.25"

 

I like this once a month thing MUCH better than every Friday, don't you?!

Now to my favorite part of the healthy train:)BEFORE AND AFTERS!!!!!!

Edited to add: I just noticed there are more shadows in the newest photo…. which aren't doing me any favors…. I should retake it:)Yeah, I'm hardcore!!!!

 

Here's the thing I find most shocking…. Uhhh…. WOW! (I'm feeling all America's Top Model with the "100% crop") Now, I'm still quite chubby cheeked… but I always will be:)Also, it's a bit deceiving because my hair is in my face in the newest photo, but whateva… you get the idea!!!!! 

So, there you have it:)My updates.  Pretty cool, huh!? For this next weigh in… let's do it Celebrity Fit Club style and get a goal.:DMine is… 6 pounds by May 15th.:DWhat's yours?

I’m a bit slow. YIKES!
I’ve actually gained. 2lbs. I’ve been out with an ankle injury, but am starting back up at the gym tonight. Hopefully by the next check in, I can have a loss! :)

BOBBI! So sorry I’m just NOW commenting. You’ve put up two blogs since this one and I’m trailing back here like a caboose!

But me and my slow caboose lost some WEIGHT! :) Since March 13th, I have lost 4.4 pounds!!!!! :)

And Andy (Shaw) has lost SIX pounds! Boys suck :)

Our TOTAL weight loss is : Me: 13.1 pounds Andy: 23.0 pounds!!! EEEE! :)

Thanks so much for keeping us motivated!! We’re just hoping to keep it all off for WEDDING SEASON!! (play Jurassic Park music) :) DUM-DUM-DUMMM!

Wow you look great you can totally see the difference in your face. So proud of you for swticking with it. I have lost another 3.5 pounds bringing my total to 24 pounds. Hopeing to lose another 6 by may 15th even if that is a bit ambitious for me right now.

I am extremely happy for you! I have struggled with my own weight for many years. It is tough, but just keep taking it one day at a time. I have just come to the conclusion that I Love food and don’t want to “diet” so I just think of it as compromise and some days I just don’t give a s%$t and have the brownie anyway. Maybe I am not helping with the last comment~either way!!! Go Girl:)

Holy freakin cow!! You look so beautiful Bobbi…not that you didnt before…but i can see extra confidence oozing from you in your newest photo and it makes all the difference! You look really good!!
As for me…ive been really up and down aswell…but ive tired to keep rememebering that it’ll all be worth it in the end. After that 5lbs i lost while i ill..i gained most of it back the next week an then stayed the same…but i have lost 1 1/4lbs. Not much, but i had a review at the gym an worked out a harder program with my trainer so btween that and taking another look at my diet..im hoping for better results next time.
Its my bday at the end of the months so i hope for another 2lbs by then..and my goal for May 15th is 4lbs!

i am down 5 more pounds .. though i’m pretty sure i’m gaining it all back this week (or have already!) because we’re doing a lot of family stuff for easter. which means tons of candy as well as good food. ugh! i don’t have much self control with food either. i really need to work on that. :)

Way to push through the low spots!

I haven’t lost lbs recently but have been seeing some major muscle development lately. Increased my handweights to 9lbs today… going to 10lbs next week!

Me on the other hand….blah. In total I only lost 1.6 pounds the whole month, BUT, when I started running 4 weeks ago, my weight jumped up 5 pounds for some reason, all of which I’ve managed to lose. So really, that 1.6 is confusing. hah

Not to mention I’ve already lost like 2 inches on my waist. In a month! From running! I’m sure next month will be way more awesome. =D However, I’m gonna set my goal at 3 pounds, because I’m still not sure how my body will react to my increase in mileage.

Okay so I have been following this for a while and I wanted so badly to lose a few before I joined your healthy train (isn’t that silly?) Instead I have gained. Too much yuckiness and health issues going on in my life.

SO, I am not sure how this thing goes but right now I am at my all time high weight yoyo of 200-204. My goal is be down to the yoyo of 193-195 by May 15th. Hopefully this is reasonable enough.

By the way. GO YOU for rocking the healthy train and looking so flippin’ awesome. Also, loving the freshness of haircolor you got going on. Did you recolor it just for your weightloss shoot?

Wow, what a difference 20 lbs makes!! I can see a HUGE difference in your face! and I LOVE your hair long too. :)

I did really good, I lost 11 lbs since I recommited. (this is after I had regained all my weight of course, so my total weight loss since October is 11 lbs. LOL) But still!!

My goal for May 15th is 8 lbs. Fingers crossed!!

I am the same way around food – if it’s there, it’s so hard for me to say no! I am kind of happy I am skipping Easter this year – so much food! I have such a hard time eating healthy around my family too.
