jamaica, ya mon!

Yes yes yes… that’s where we are:)Pauline and Jim are getting married here tomorrow and guess who’s photographing it?! US!

Can you guys believe we’ve had two back to back destination weddings this month?! Us either! We have one more in May and then not again until next January. BUT… if anyone else out there is in need, CALL US!!!

We’re having blast, enjoying the sun, relaxing, working, shooting, eating, (more about my diet later, EEEKS!), swimming, funning (not a word… shut up, it is now!), sleeping, etc. It’s been great…:)

Here’s what I have to say re: a wedding in Jamaica… the weather is PERRRRRFECT! It’s breezy, sunny, warm… but not too warm, and even a bit cloudy (which we, as photographers, LOVE).

You know… I would LOVE to come out here with a big group of friends or our families… or better yet, BOTH… I just feel like this environment would be so much fun with the people that we love. And THAT is another reason a destination wedding would be so perfect. If we ever renew our vows… SIGN US UP!!!!!

I thought I’d head out of our little living spot all by my lonesome and grab a few photos. This was what I came back with.

It had just quit raining…

You guys are beyond lucky! But I guess it doesn’t come down to luck. It’s moreso your skill…’cause you guys totally deserve it for all the hard work you guys do. I hope you have a fantabulous time!

LeeAndraApril 18, 2008 - 3:15 pm

So… this will likely be the oddest comment you’ve ever received. Really.

But I don’t care. Much.

I stumbled upon your blog after it was linked on some gurlie’s blog on The Knot, and… wowie-zowie! You + Mikey = amazing! I like to play with my Canon and take pictures, but dang. Your post-productions are madhot, yo. Mine, on the other hand… could fit inside a very small snail-sized lunchpail.

Le sigh.

Tangent much? Oh yeah, right, so I was telling you how AMAZING you were. And you are. For reals and stuff.

And when I get married (*snort* which will so NOT be until at least 2010), I will arrange my entire wedding day around whether you & Mikey can shoot me. Oh yeah, I said it. So pretty much… you have to promise that when I send you an email saying I’m finally engaged in, oh, late 2009, that you will clear your scheds and shoot my photos and make me the happiest bride in the world.

Y’know, besides that whole marrying my soulmate + starting my new life junk. ;)

Pinkypromise?! [waits] Okay, good. I’m glad we got that settled.

Yours until the potato chips,
LeeAndra
