Meet the Fassinger family. You’ll fall in love with them… I guarantee it!  (…said in a Men’s Wearhouse kinda tone…):D:D:D

This family drove in from Pennsylvania just to get their family photos taken. I was feeling SO much pressure… That’s a SEVEN HOUR DRIVE! Yeah… pressure!!!!

HOWEVER… when you have a family with this much energy…. it’s easy:)Well… easy is relative… family photos are never “easy”… they’re ABSOLUTELY the most exhausting kind of sessions there are! That being said… they’re also the most rewarding;)Can I get an amen from the photogs in the audience?! AAAAAMEN!!!!!!

Ella was so sweet and cute… oh, and hilarious, too.

Told you she was hilarious.:DJosh, how do you not have a spaz attack with your hair tickling your eyes like that?! That would DRIVE me CRAZY! I know I know… it’s the Justin Bieber look, right? Man oh man I’m getting older!

Mike’s favorite:?:

OHHHHH TO BE A KID AGAIN!!!!! Doesn’t that look fun?! Ella didn’t get the memo on the fun part thought;)

When you’re ten years old and having to get your photo taken with your younger siblings… it’s awkward city for you! So, what do I do?! I make it even more awkward and make your kid brother hug you while you have to force yourself to look like you’re enjoying it. Nice work Josh!;)His body language to me says, “as soon as they’re not looking, I’m going to punch you…” Which, he did… in a brotherly, not hurt you kind of way.

HELLOOOOOO HOT TAMALES!!!!!

By the end of our session… these kids were DONE! And I still needed to get ooooone more family photo taken. So, we took a break and gave them our cameras. Probably not my smartest move… but, they were in heaven! :D  This MAY have been a good idea of Joanna wasn’t a professional photographer… I’m sure that since they’ve been home…. Joanna has had to lay the law down about not touching. SORRY ABOUT THAT! However, truth be told… they were amazingly careful and respectul with them:)After they shot around for a bit… I sat them down and  took a photo.:D

HERE was that ooooone last photo that I needed.:DTOTALLY worth it!  My favorite:!:

How precious! I am a big fan of the touchy-feely, huggy, happy family. The camera-toting kids pic is classic!

Sarah DanaherAugust 23, 2010 - 2:09 pm

Oh my freakin’ cow. I LOVE THESE!!! Seriously, Bobbi, this may be your best family session EEEVVVER. No joke.

And yes, you get an “amen” from this part of the photog community. Family portraits are EX-hausting, but sooooo beautiful.

AMEN!!! I love my family sessions, right after my baby sessions, but I am toast after I do one, especially with little kids!! I love all of these, but that first one would be going on my wall in a heart beat if it were me!!!! I am thinking a trip to Indy may be in my family’s future. Really. Unless I can convince you to vacation in Maine:)

CheriAugust 23, 2010 - 12:58 pm

gailAugust 23, 2010 - 11:40 am

You worked it OUT!! And I TOTALLY agree. Family sessions are EXHAUSTING. Far more exhausting than weddings. Kids don’t like to listen the way wedidng parties (for the most part -haha) do!

I know they’ll LOVE these!!
