These two are so so SO incredibly fun.

I haven’t done a “bobbi’s view/mikey’s view of the same scene” blog entry in a while so… without further ado…

Mike’s view… and again, HE WON!!!!!! So, at the end of the day… I came in a VERY close second place

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. Kari and NickOHHHHH KARI AND NICK!!!!!! We photographed their wedding in May, 2007 and have been great friends ever since

They live in Arizona and have lived there since we’ve known them, so shooting an engagement session prior to their wedding just wasn’t in the cards. HOWEVER, a few months ago Kari emailed and said they were going to be in town for Christmas and asked if we had any room in our schedule for an engagementesque session. WE WERE SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!! ABSOLUUUUUUUTELY we’ll photo you again! So, YAHOOOOOO that’s exactly what we did.:D:D

During the session Nick said, “I can’t wait to see these photos because you always make people look more sexy than they are.” HAHAHAHA!!!!!! I thought that was hilarious. So, how’d we do?

I just have to say (as a lurker) that this is also one of my favourite sets that you have done.. As Jodie mentions, not only are the pics gourgeous, there is something (extra) charming and natural in the couples character that has been captured in these shots..

I’ve been reading your blog for a while and am going to figure out a way for you to photograph our family some day… you are one (two) of my all time fav photogs!

Anyway, this is one of my favorite shoots you’ve ever done! Not sure if you guys were just on fire that day or if the closeness of a newlywed couple is more comfortable than engaged couples, but they just look SO happy! And your composition is incredible!

Oh my gosh your post processing is PREFECT PERFECT in EVERY SHOT!!! I love this session!! My favs are your 2 favs….they are just brilliant. And I think you won that second round, but maybe that’s just me. Oh, and your black and whites are just PERFECT too. Have I used that adjective too much in this comment? You get the point.

And yes, you do bring out the sexy in your subjects! I wish I looked as good as I do in the photos you take! (Minus us at Cassie’s wedding. I looked like crapola that day.)

This shoot is another lesson in how well you and Mike remember to back up and get the whole picture too. Yes Jamie, love that negative space!!!!

Oh and I love that these photos are AFTER the wedding. You know, that’s when the fun really begins!!!
