Don't those heels look comfortable? I just Googled:)Here they are… (and to my graphic designer friends re: their logo… bevel and emboss called, and they want their filter back… please leave it in 2001! Okay… I'm being a jerk… shushing now.) AYKM to that amazing dress?!??!?

A tip to make your photos better:)If you can get ready in an area with lots of windows, DO IT! For us, natural light is ALWAYS better than artificial:D

BRING IT IN TIIIIIGHT!

THERE'S THE CLAW!!!!!:DMore on that later…

first sight:)Mikey's favorite:?:

We shot all of the photos that happened before their ceremony on the church grounds, where, as many photographers are quite familiar with… you work with what you have and make it amazing!;)I looked over at Laura and said… "I have a quirky idea, you down?"

She laughed… "I love it!"

HA!

LAURA…. YOU'RE BEAUUUUUUUTIFULLLL!!!!

Here they are RIGHT after the ceremony.

I haven't seen a rose petal tossing in years! Why don't more people do this?! It's so beautiful!!!!! My favorite:?:

:D

Mike's on the left… mine on the right:DMike wins.

Laura has a degree in literature:)and they both love to read… perfecto centerpiece!

:D

This was our first wedding at the Indianapolis Art Center… and I loved that they danced under the awning.:)

Such a proud dad…

:)

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. Laura and Brian are one in a million… and we are SO glad they chose us to photograph their awesome day.:)

More about the claw: they live in Montana… where they're quite adventurous.:D…adventurous enough to ride horses… and to falllll off a horse soon before their wedding! AHHHH!!!!!! As you can see, Laura broke her wrist… and broke it in such an interesting way that they had to put the cast on with her wrist bent… famously referred to as "The Claw":)On our way to the church Laura joked that she can do an amazing "Thriller".  WELLLLLLLL…. later that night as the dancing started I remembered that they were joking about it and I asked the DJ if he could squeeze it in:DNext thing you know, there's Laura out there with the best Thriller dance moves I've ever seen:DIt was awesome.  I love that she took something that could have potentially ruined her day and made it a funny. :)  Not only did she make it something that was funny… but she made it fashionable!  Her seamstress made that little cover up… :)  I guess a few weeks before, she had a full arm cast… and was so incredibly relieved that it went down to the size that it was for their wedding.

Laura and Brian, thank you for everything!

Much love!!!!

Hi guys! thank you for the lovely comments!! Shannon-the dresses are from the jasmine bridal, B2 line. I choose the color jade and had the girls pick a style that most flattered them in a “poly chiffon” fabric–it’s kinda floaty (if that makes sense) and it was a great fabric for the HOT Indiana august day.

Love love love the one of her in the “library.” The lighting is stunning.

We love love love the photos! you guys were amazing. You made us laugh so much on our wedding day. The claw totally was hidden. Thank You! We are so happy that you were our photographers. I love the photo of us hugging after the ceremony. You see, we were so nervous up at the alter (and the minster did not cue us) we forgot to kiss. So we had to make up for it at the end! We hope you are having a wonderful summer. Thank You!!! Awesome Job love bri & Laura

For Laura… I didn’t even see the cast until I read the comments and went back – nicely done! Way to work it out Bobs and Mikey! Personally, I think the bent cast gives it a certain touch of class :)

Hey, guys! Fantastic stuff, as always! Just one question about one particular photo… The one of Laura and Brian in the grass–are they standing up or lying down? I mean, maybe I’m crazy for asking, but I can’t really tell. I want to say they’re standing up, but that grass would be so incredibly tall if they are! Sorry if this is a dumb question… I’m just really curious about it! Regardless, it’s a beautiful photo (canvas worthy, fo’ sho’!) but so are the rest of them! Great work, guys! As usual! Lovingly blog-stalking, carly.

I’ve been so excited to see these! My hubby was the Caddy driver that night, and I was so envious that he got to see you two in action! He said you were both super cool and full of energy and enthusiasm. I love how you worked (and totally ROCKED!) the church grounds. Please put me on whatever list you have for your (hopefully soon!) workshop. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! Beautiful images, love the first sight and the tilt shift crooked house, and the beautiful bridal portraits, and all the rest are equally awesome.

Hey Bobster,

I love the light in these photos. Laura looked beautimous. The Crooked house was too cool. My favorite is the second B&W of the wedding party. Great job.

AYKM with the awesome shots? Damn. And where is that AMAZING crooked house-front thingy? I want one!!

Kevin & Heidi HebertSeptember 11, 2009 - 12:26 pm

What a bride! I’m sitting here wondering if I would be totally depressed if I had to wear a cast during my wedding…
You go girl!
Bobbi, you and mike made “the claw” look like a fashion statement. I didn’t even notice it until later in the post!

ShannonSeptember 11, 2009 - 11:07 am

Awesome photos! Any idea where those bm dresses are from? They’re amazing and they look super comfortable.

KimSeptember 11, 2009 - 11:04 am
