Mandy told us at the beginning of our shoot that her favorite photos of ours were the really unique shots… we were in HEAVEN!You’ll see

FORT WAYNE, Ind. Mandy and Katie have been together for ten years… TEN YEARS! They met at Ball State and have been together ever since.

Mandy is a VERY faithful blog reader (WE LOVE THAT!). At the end of our session… Mandy asked when the photos would be up. I said, “We’re running about two weeks behind on the blog.” Mandy replied… “No biggie, I’m patient.” Katie laughed… we all knew the truth. As soon as I got home I had an email from Mandy, “Maybe it was the cold speaking… but I can’t wait to see them!!!!!” HA!So… thanks for being OH SO patient… HERE THEY ARE!

Another new favorite Mikey action shot. He’s hard core!

I bought these HOT (dorky) sunglasses a LONG time ago… and as we were leaving for the shoot I couldn’t find ANYTHING other than theseI always use sunglasses on shoots to keep my hair out of my face. THEY WORKED!oh…and by the way…. the reason I’m standing like that is because I’m shooting with a wide angle lens… and I need to keep my feet out of the frame (if you look closely at the first photo in this blog entry… you might see that I’m not as limber as I need to be to take it)

Bobbi AAAAMMMMAAAAZZZZING!!! Love all these. I know I’m going back pretty far here in your blog but your pictures are Fab…and I’m doing an engagement shoot this weekend and its my first one so I wanted to get some inspiration. They have all been so great but I must stop and comment on this one. I just LOVE that you did it and put it out there and its awesome. One of my closest friends from high school Shelly is talking about marriage with Tina, her GF of about 2 years… they are so great together and they’ve asked me to take their wedding photos as soon as they set a date! I’m so excited to be a part of their day.
And as I see that you’ve mentioned in a previous comment, love is love and it CLEARLY shows in these photos. WELL DONE!

Oops! Didn’t mean to post that one this particular blog. I was just looking through the entire category of engagements. Personally, I’m not fond of these photos. And not because of the photography…because of the subject. But that’s me and this is you, so enough about that.

That reflection shot is fabulous… especially since it has that random drawing on the wall behind them Nice work on these, I really like the close-up hand shot as well.

Ok… I just have to say. You guys totally ROCK! I really admire the fact that you display photos of a gay couple proudly on your blog. One of my best friends is gay and he’s always said it’s hard to even find a photographer that is comfortable doing photos of him and his boyfriend. I know a lot of photographers and photo studios that would NEVER even take gay couples! Their photos are beautiful! GREAT job!

Hey, I have to agree with your fellow bloggers. I love the reflection shot. That is truly unique, But I also love the color closeup of Mandy & Katie sitting on the curb. Great shoot.
