FORT WAYNE, Ind. These two are getting married TOMORROW!:DThey live in Virginia… so, shooting their engagement session had to happen this week (we took them yesterday):)The weather was cold, damp and gloomy (wind chill 17°). You sure couldn’t tell that by looking at these photos… they were such good sports!!!!!

There aren’t many SUPER cool locations around Fort Wayne… and because of the DRAB weather… we had to do a lot of “thinking outside of the box” We were forced to find new stuff…. and we’re SO proud of the results.

We can’t WAIT for tomorrow:D

LOVE TO YOU GUYS!

Mannyed (Gina)January 1, 2008 - 8:42 pm

I think my favorite part of checking out the photos is seeing the action shots of you and Mike at work. Those are always so cool to check out.

Wishing you and Mike much success for 2008!

MicheleJanuary 1, 2008 - 6:45 pm

Fabulous photos! You absolutely captured their connection. Can’t wait for the wedding shots.

Deb (Matt's Mom)January 1, 2008 - 5:33 pm

I love how you captured the special bond between Matt and Mandy! It’s obvious to all of us who know them well, but you were able to pick up on it immediately! We so loved having you at the wedding and can’t wait to see those pictures! Thanks again, Bobbi and Mike!

MombaJanuary 1, 2008 - 2:16 pm

Hey Bobsteroonie. Sorry it has taken so long to comment on this adorable couple. Mandy and Matt are both very photogenic. I have to say my favorite is the “Artsy Fartsy” B&W in front of brick building holding each other with their eyes closed. I could see that picture in a magazine. It is truly a classic.

Love You Both,

Momba

Bobbi-
First time I am commenting, but I read your blog religiously! I came upon it while looking at photography blogs and you guys are the best. I am a graphic designer, but looking to add photography to my list and I only wish I can take awesome pics like you guys do! I’m living in Arizona right now, but from Chicago…..if you guys are ever gonna be in Chi-town and want to do a session I would so love it! I have a new category for you….newly single & need new pics!

I ran across your blog quite randomly several weeks ago and haven’t gone a day without looking ever since. I want to CRY when I see your photos! What amazing work! Please call me if you ever come to Grand Rapids, MI. I’ve got an adorable three year old whose big blue eyes need your cameras :)

Eddie Bojorquez (Studio 512)December 28, 2007 - 7:39 pm

Just wanted to leave a note saying we absolutely love the pictures. It was a blast taking them with you even though the weather didn’t cooperate. At least it wasn’t like today with sleet and snow! Gotta run to rehearsal now but looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

What a GREAT shoot, I can’t believe they had their engagement pictures taken the day BEFORE their wedding! Amazing!

I love the photos, so colorful and FRESH! :)

Great job CIA Snowbunny!

BetsyDecember 28, 2007 - 2:35 pm

You guys are awesome. Love the photo with the cool lock too. These guys did a great job of appearing warm despite being freezing.

You beat me on the committment as I can’t handle the cold! You need to get you some fuzzy Uggs or something before you do another 17 degree photoshoot missy! (That’s my mom side coming out.)

Lots of love to you guys!!! Can’t wait to see you again!!!

PS LOVE the CIA snowbunny. U R so cute!

PPS I want to see that baby photo of Mike!

bobbiDecember 28, 2007 - 2:32 pm

kilaxDecember 28, 2007 - 2:28 pm

OH MY GOSH! They are just such a cute couple! I cannot wait to see the wedding set! :)

Bobbi, you do these engagement photos all the time, and I am amazed that they always look fresh and new. You and Mike are so talented :)

bobbiDecember 28, 2007 - 2:09 pm

Yep! It’s a ShootSac :D It’s a great camera bag to use while shooting… makes changing lenses easy and quick. It’s comfortable and sleek so it’s NEVER in my way. In it I keep two lenses, my sunglasses and cell phone :)

But if you’re looking for something to use as your usual camera bag to protect and hold your equipment… it’s not the best option. I have a Think Tank as my camera bag and I use my ShootSac RELIGIOUSLY while shooting :D

I’m not sure if I explained that well… :)

Thanks Nicole!

Nicole NeffDecember 28, 2007 - 1:56 pm

Is that a Shootsac? I’m dying to get one…after I get my professional camera, of course.

Once again, great, great stuff. You keep me glued to your blog with all your great photos!
