What was the most memorable moment of your day?

amanda: Jared was approaching me during a traditional jewish pre-ceremony, called a Bedekken. I was crying (tears of joy!) because I was overwhelmed with emotion, and he whispered into my ear: “I only ever want to make you smile.”

jared: When the men danced me in to veil the bride in the traditional Jewish pre-ceremony. That was really special and I couldn’t stop smiling.

Any advice for future bride/grooms?

amanda: This goes for the planning and the day-of: surround yourself with people you trust to take on ALL of the stressful details so that you’re just enjoying yourself.

jared: Just try and stay relaxed. A handkerchief helps if you sweat (or a change of shirt if you sweat like me). And don’t wear your new shoes for the first time at the wedding. Gotta break those in.

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

amanda: It was private, but funny. I brought a backup dress to dance in, but in all the haste, I had forgot to bring a bra to the reception venue. My cousin, Nicole was heading back to the hotel to put her kids to bed, and I asked her to go get my bra – but she didn’t have the key. So she had to convince the hotel staff to let her in to my room to get her cousin’s bra. Luckily, she’s a very persuasive gal:)

jared: Either the bride’s cousin biting it hard on the dance floor or my cousin literally giving me the shirt off his back because I had sweat through mine.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

amanda:  I really loved the way it turned out – such a satisfying feeling to see a vision come together! I wouldn’t change a thing!

jared:  I honestly wouldn’t change a thing…except actually try and eat the appetizers. Didn’t have a chance to try those. Heard they were good.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

St. Martin and Anguilla, in the Caribbean!

Much love friends!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Renee:  Oh man, this is tough. Probably the first look. Seeing ourselves for the first time all dressed up just the two of us. It was nice.

Jonathan:  Getting ready with all my groomsman and then seeing my beautiful wife for the first time in her wedding dress.

Any advice for future bride/grooms?

Renee:  It all goes WAY too fast. If you take pictures before the wedding have someone with food/water, its more tiring than you think. Try to step back and look at everything you planned.

Jonathan:  RUN.. (Just kidding!) What advice do I have ? Take it slow, and enjoy every moment, it goes by super fast.

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Renee:  My Dad and I attempting a dance that took us 3 months or so to learn. Looking back at a couple videos people took and laughing every time.

Jonathan:  Watching Renee and her Dad do their dance!

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Clone myself 4 times so I could be every where I wanted to be at once.:)

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Karlie: Well the whole day was one for the record books, for sure. I had a blast getting ready with the girls (moms too!), it was amazing to have all of them together in one room with me. SO MUCH LOVE!! Walking down the aisle was incredible, seeing everyone – there just for us. The ceremony was definitely my favorite part of the day, it was personal – it was fun, it was spiritual and full of love.

Mitch: When we first walked out the doors after the ceremony – we did it – i felt changed and the most incredible rush of joy.

Any advice for future bride/grooms?

Karlie: Definitely get a wedding coordinator to run the show day of…. SO helpful. Also, I had my hair + makeup friend stay until we were introduced at the reception. It was awesome to have her around to do touch-ups. We (me + my bridesmaids) started the day with a yoga class at the hotel, it was the perfect way to get in the right mindset…highly recommend it!

Mitch: Take a second to write letters or say how happy you are to have those in the wedding party be a part of your big day. Guys dont get to say that stuff often so make it count.

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Mitch: My best man roasting me with his toast and shedding light into some embarrassing childhood awkward moments.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

If we could go back in time, we would definitely make the reception longer…for sure!! We should’ve joined the after party with our friends at Steak & Shake, heard it was pretty epic!!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Turks and Caicos – Pure magic.

Much love friends!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Jesse:  While the whole day was fantastic and beyond my dreams, one of my most memorable moments was when I was waiting to walk down the aisle with my Dad. The anticipation was indescribable! I didn’t get nervous until I heard the first notes of the music and my bridesmaids began walking down the aisle. But when the Cathedral doors opened and I saw Alex standing in front of the alter, my nerves disappeared and I felt giddy with happiness. I was just so excited to get to Alex and for us to finally become husband and wife.

Alex:  Seeing Jesse for the first time is tattooed in my memory. She was glowing when she walked into the church, like an angel. It was a dream come true for me and that moment, when everything began, is what I’ll remember most from that day.

Any advice for future bride/grooms?

Jesse: When your wedding day finally arrives, it literally flies by in the blink of an eye.  All of the planning, stress, money, and time put in over the entire year comes and goes in a flash the day of your wedding, so try to enjoy the whole process.  If possible, hire a day-of coordinator so that you are able to truly take little moments throughout the wedding day to savor everything—the emotion, the sights, the smells, the sounds.  At times, you’ll be stressed and overwhelmed, but just enjoy the entire engagement and planning period, because when it’s all over, you’ll miss it and want to do it all over again!

Alex:  Don’t stress afterwards about the people you didn’t get to talk to during the reception. Everyone is there to celebrate with you and your family, so just relax and have fun.

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Jesse:  There were so many! But if I had to choose, deciding to build a human wedding pyramid and pretty much any moment dancing would top the list. Our family and guests tore up the dance floor! And dancing on stage with Alex and the band was so fun! I felt like a rock star up there and my abs and legs were so sore the next day.

Alex:  My funniest moment was when the priest stopped his homily mid-sentence, distracted by my socks. Jesse had given me American Flag socks for the wedding day and were visible when we were sitting listening to the homily. Father Gary looked over during one of the points he was making, stopped, and asked me what in the world I was wearing and couldn’t believe my new wife would allow such socks!:)

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Jesse:  If we could do it all over, I would make sure we actually ate some of our wedding cake. But other than that, I wouldn’t have changed one thing! It truly was perfect and I felt like I was living a real-life fairy tale. The venues were elegant, the entire bridal party looked stunning, the music during the ceremony and the band at the reception were out of this world, the food was scrumptious, and the floral arrangements were dazzling! I just wish that I could have learnt how to warp time to make the day go by slower!

Alex:  I’d make sure Jesse and I could have gotten a first look at the ballroom. This was something we were supposed to have been able to do, but weren’t. It would have been a very nice memory to have seen everything set-up before the guests sat down.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
