Aren’t these two cuuuuute?!
Caitlynn came to our workshop 2-ish years ago and back then, before she was engaged… she told us that we were going to shoot her wedding
She certainly came through on her promise!
The light this day was SO money!
I’m loving those pink shoes!
…it’s all about the hands
Caitlynn and Nick met at Subway yeeeears ago… AKA they were sandwich artisting in the front of the store while kissy facing in the back. I mean, not really (as they didn’t actually work there at the same time as each other)… but if I were working there with Mike that’s what we’d be doing!
Anyway… it was only appropriate to swing by so they could change outfits… and grab a quickie Subway-esque photo
Caitlynn’s only request… little people big sky… we aim to please!

After a lonnnnng winter it was so nice to have such a warm day for their engagement session.

Oh hello amazing Bokeh! BTW, this was taken with the 70-200 f/2.8L IS II USM. Mike shot it… it’s way pretty.
WHOA. Did I mention the light that afternoon was SO money?! The only word I can think to describe this image is magical. Also taken by Mike with the aforementioned 70-200. AYKM?! Mike’s favorite!
Don’t you worry, I haven’t lost my touch; this one was taken by me… WHAT A RELIEF!
I love how much you two love each other. This is my favorite

How they met, as told by Caitlynn :: Subway love! Still in high school, I was working at Subway and a friend introduced me to Nick, who had worked there in the past. We went on one date, were best friends for a year, and then started our lives together as a couple. Seven years later, we’re getting married!

Mike captioned this, “I am Cornholio!”

It was another really cold day… We asked them dress warm; they wore the perfect coats!
These two were such a joy to photograph! Their wedding photographer has it maaade in the shaaaade… they’re quite photogenic!

The workshop attendees challenged me to use this thing and I accepted!
Nothing like having a sweet intimate moment in front of twelve people (14 counting us) watching.
…a location and outfit change
Here’s another favorite
My view.
Mike’s
Sarah and Ben, on behalf of the workshop attendees, thank you so much for coming down from Chicago to help us out… You couldn’t have been a more perfect duo! And as for your wedding day, it’s guaranteed to be full of sweetness… Please be sure to share some images with us!
Now there’s some fierce hair!
He’s like a lion stalking his prey…
Me showing Ben how it’s done.
Badaboom badabing, workshop #12!

Do you see what I see?
…just because
Oh Teran, I adore your spirit.
These two are getting married in August, I won’t lie… I’m jealous of their wedding photographer.
Another favorite.
“Make a chevron!”
We usually do our workshops in April, but because last March was so warm I (wrongly) assumed that it would be like that this year too #globalwarming. I will not tell a lie, the weather for our two workshops was miserable (20° windchill)… but our “models” worked it OUT! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being such good sports.
My view.
…and Mike’s view. I’m going to call this one a tie. Anyone care to weigh in?
He’s Arizona and she’s Colorado… get it?!
Wacky Bobbi strikes again!
Damn Teran you’re cute!
Are your eyes for REAL?! I love photographing love.

Seeing this photo is making me cold!
Hail hail! PS. don’t mind the singing bush in front of us… “she’ll be comin’ ’round the mountain when she commmmmes…” (If you laughed at that, high fives!)
