Bling bling! Can you guess what I took this on???
I ALWAYS try to tell our brides to find a room with a big window to get ready in. Lauren listened! The color is always SO much more beautiful. I’m starting a campaign… “SAY NOLESCENT TO FLUORESCENT!” (I’m a good rhymer…)
LOVE!
Meanwhile…
Their first sight
So much happening in this image…
Right after they kissed, they walked down the aisle directly into that elevator and up they went. I snapped that image RIGHT as the doors were closing.
“…and we just might live the good life yet!” (if you got that, high fives!) Mike’s favorite

I love brides who wear non-white shoes!
This was my favorite part of the whole day! Notice Danny’s hands clinched on for dear life? I think he almost fell off of that chair twice! My favorite
Lauren and Danny surprised everyone with their first dance. No one, to include their parents, knew that they had been taking dance lessons…

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
lauren: 1. My dad, and then Danny, each seeing me for the first time. 2. Walking down the aisle 3. The part of the ceremony when Rabbi Rose said, “…according to the power vested in me by the state of Maryland…” when we were about to be pronounced as husband and wife, I just about lost it and will never forget how I felt in that moment.
danny: watching Lauren walk down the aisle and trying to keep my composure.
Any advice for future bride/grooms?
lauren: Hire Bobbi and Mike, of course! (Good advice! Thanks friend!
) Do what makes you happy. Hire vendors who are true professionals so when the big day comes, you know they’re going to take care of everything. Dance to every song. Plan as best you can, and then just let it go the day of the wedding!
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
lauren: Re-doing some of the moves from our first dance later in the evening for Bobbi to catch a photo of them.
danny: Lauren being handed a chair with the cushion detached from the chair for the chair lifting (i still remember it going through my head “this isn’t going to go right, lets get a new chair”)
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
lauren: Nope!
danny: I would have remembered to eat more cake.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Hawaii!
There is no photo of bobbi+mike+lauren+danny
They left in a hurry and we didn’t get the chance to take it…
Go go gadget bendy!
Danny picked up our camera and took a photo
One of the very few photos of both of us in action on a wedding day! BTW, for those who it’s not obvious to, we’re bustling her train.

Much love friends!

According to them, they’re “really awkward” in pictures. Uhm… I beg to differ!
The first half of the session was at Alli’s families farm… and it was AWESOME! Oh, and they’re getting married here too!
Did I mention they’re cute?
…and absolutely SMITTEN with each other!

Then we drove into town for a few more images…
HA!
My favorite!
WHERRRRRRE’S WALDO?!
…notice the piece of straw in his mouth. Though you’re handsome Mike… you’re still very weird.
…a little motivational grunt…. or something… (I have NO idea what we were doing here!) It seems Mike’s not the only weird one
As we were leaving for our second location, Alli and Kyle drove to the end of their driveway while we were packing up our cameras. Meanwhile, their dog hopped into our car and wouldn’t get out. Mike chased him all over the car, yet he kept eluding capture! After about 5-ish minutes we were able to outsmart him.

2011 weddings will officially be remembered as having the most incredible families. Kim and Jonathan’s top the list. I know that’s a pretty big statement but… well… if you met them you’d see.
Right as we arrived to the ceremony venue Kim asked her sister Amanda, “Can I spin here?” And then they spun.
…meanwhile.

Kim, you were a stunning bride…
Oh, hello hot tamales!
I have a major
One of the best groom reactions we’ve ever seen.
Love.

HA!
I adore your smiles.

The photo on the left is a bit out of order, but I have good reason.
Oh yes, that image in the middle? Yes… that’s one of our light stands doubling as a microphone.

And of course… me with my brides! This is officially the longest time span between two brides: 5 years, 4 months :D. (
Kim was DYING to see Jonathan’s reaction to the gift I helped her make. Mike showed her.
I handed Jonathan my camera while I showed him his next pose. He was inspired.
