Mike and I are currently in Denver visiting my Uncle Pat, Diana, and their two boys Elliot and Finnegan….

I’ve mentioned in the past on this blog that my Uncle Pat is a writer of screenplays. On occasion he produces and directs his screenplays into short films. We just happened to be here for the third annual “Day After Thanksgiving ‘Wing It’ Movie Making Spectacular” What does that mean? He and all of his film buddies get together and make a movie with no pressure just for the fun of it. This year Pat decided to mix it up a bit and break into a few teams. The teams were all given one task; to start their short film with the line, “the last time I saw Santa Claus…” Pat only had a cast/crew of two. We got to help a bit. I did a some filming… but the REAL star was Mikey!

 

 

 

Here’s a quickie version of the story: there are two hillbilly brothers named Robby Bobby and Bobby Robby and the last time THEY saw Santa Claus he was stealing their beer… favorite!

I don’t want to give away the end but… draw your own conclusions(Pat is reconstructing his kitchen so it worked perfectly for the hillbilly scene)

Be warned though it’s not exactly kid-friendly. Who cares… it’s SO funny! I can’t wait to show you Mike’s big film debutHe was GRRRRREAT! (Maybe I’m partial)
