FRENCH LICK, Ind.  Whitney and Mike… SO in love and SO perfect for each other.

I can't begin to describe how much fun we had with these two and their bridal party!  The girls were HILAAAAARIOUS!  It felt like we had all been friends for years.  Our personalities meshed together PERFECTLY!

The guys were quite the fun bunch, too!  Because of the aforementioned drama with the cufflink situation… we only had about 5 minutes to take photos of the groomsmen prior to the ceremony.  These men brought their A-Game that day because we made magic in that five minutes:DOkay, that was cheesy… but, you get the point!

I can't not mention this because it was such a huge part of who they are…. Whitney and Mike have both lost their dads within the last five years. I can't even imagine.  The day was full of so many different emotions.   When the two were introduced into their reception, Mike took the microphone… He talked about their dads and said that instead of a moment of silence… let's give them a round of applause… the place erupted into cheers, hollers and applause.  It was so incredibly awesome.

We love you guys,

Thank you Matt for providing the perfect (veil) backdrop for our photo. :)  And regarding my hair… I just want to say that I don't actually FIX my hair to look like chicken wings… it just happens throughout the day when I stick it behind my ears. ;)

And now Rachael is WEARING our backdrop.

A different take on our normal "action" shots.  This was taken right after the above photo was taken.  It makes me smile BIG smiles!

i loved the photo charm on the bouquet – having lost my mom, it speaks volumes. the b/w of her from behind is breathtaking and her make up was do die for – another gorgeous wedding!

Brenda PhillipsAugust 16, 2008 - 11:22 am

I have been a friend of Jane’s since we were old enough to know what friends were. So, I had the good fortune of watching Mike, Kyle, and Noelle grow up along with my two girls. A couple of years ago, on New Year’s Eve, I went with Jane to hear Mike play guitar and sing up in Indy. That was my first and only chance to meet Whitney, She’s a wonderful young lady and Mike is one lucky guy. What a beautiful wedding!! The photography was outstanding and captured the raw emotion of the day. My best wishes to everyone.

bobbi, you are one of the few people who can have me in tears one second and make me laugh out loud the next. also, where did you find that fabulous necklace? as a fellow redhead, i must procure more orange accents to complement my ever-shrinking wardrobe.

AWESOME! The photo pinned to the bouquet choked me up!!!!

You are such a great story teller Bobbi + Mike!

PS Chicken wings. Ha! I call them school bus stop signs! (You know, how they stick out at a right angle from your head.) You need a big ‘ol orange headband to rock betsy style. ; )
